SO, it's been a while. Part of the reason I haven't written in a bit is because, well....I have entirely bought into the hedonistic lifestyle that Berlin encourages. I have not done anything too cultural lately, except for Oktoberfest (which is also still pretty damn hedonist), which I will write about in a bit. Basically my life consists of attending pretty simple, easy classes, going out to eat, going to happy hours, and listening to a whole lot of phenomenal music. Am I complaining... ABSOLUTELY NOT. But it doesn't give me too much to write about except to tell you that I am having an amazing time and loving Berlin.

Ah! but I am going to St. Petersburg, Russia from this coming Sunday for one week and I am really excited/a little nervous. I think I will experience a serious culture shock there (if you smile at strangers they apparently think you are little crazy/dumb haha) and it is also way stricter than I am used to...but I will also be with my whole program so I am sure they will help a ton. Then when I get back, I only have a few days before I go to Prague. Then the following weekend I will travel to Paris for a week. After that week, I am going to Athens and then Istanbul. Then, finally, back to Berlin for the remainder of my stay.
